Gurdaspur, Oct 22(PTI) Five persons including four members of a family were killed in two dissimilar road accidents in and around the town today.
According to police, four members of family were killed in a head on crash between a car and truck near Kanwan village 20 kilometres from here.
Police have registered a case in opposition to the driver who fled away from the spot.
In another accident a school going child was crushed to death by a car close to ITI here this after noon.
Police have impounded the car, but the owner managed to flee.
