America On Wheels Museum hosts book drive, wreath decorating contest


America on Wheels Museum is celebrating its Train Time Holiday Exhibit with a unique December line-up. The exhibit runs through the ending of the month.

In addition to enjoying the museum's holiday compilation of trains, visitors can:
Dec. 12: Bring a gently used or new book to the museum to donated to Judith's Reading Room, which sends fully-stocked book carts to public who are not mobile, for example, in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, in institutions or on active-duty overseas, according to their website.

Dec. 18: Enjoy free admission to the museum with the contribution of a new, unwrapped toy.

Dec. 19: Listen to public holiday tunes at the museum from 1 to 4 p.m.

Dec. 22: Get $1 off admission on this specially-priced day. Also be sure to vote for your favorite garland in the Holiday Wreath Decorating competition. Winners will be announced at noon.
