Mercedes-Benz unveils redesigned C Class sedan

As the Detroit auto show quickly approaches, another automaker is unleashing photos of one of its more significant next-generation cars. This time it's Mercedes-Benz with its restyled 2012 C Class sedan.

It will come to showrooms by next summer and changes extend beyond those you can simply see in the pictures here, such as the restyled front end. C Class is Mercedes' little car in the U.S., the entry level into the luxury brand here.

The C250 will come with a innovative 201-horsepower direct-injection four-cylinder bi-turbo engine. The fancier version, the C300, will have a 228 horsepower V-6 engine. And fanciest will be the C350 with its 302-horsepower V-6.
